Life is filled with transitions—from seemingly incidental to catastrophic. How do we navigate through the obstacles, messiness and challenges of everyday life? Sometimes it seems so “upside down” –not logical. And without a deeper understanding of transitions, it is just that. Join us as we follow the biblical “female Job”—Naomi—through incredible life trials. We will gain a better understanding of transitions, the key questions to process, including, where is God in the midst of chaos? And, how is it possible to thrive in the mud puddles and upheavals of life?

Leadership in any organization can provide some definite challenges. This course deals with three of them: The cost of leadership and a Biblical response to that cost; dealing with and resolving conflict; and understanding transitions and how transition is different from change. A good understanding of these issues and a strategy for dealing with them could make all the difference between success and failure. Daisy Santos, a leader in the business world as well as the local church is ideally equipped and suited to help us navigate these troubled waters.

Dr. Hislop is Professor of Pastoral Care and the founder and former director of the Western Seminary Women’s Center for Ministry. She is an M.S.M. graduate of Multnomah Biblical Seminary and earned the Doctor of Ministry at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Dr. Hislop is also the author of “Shepherding Women in Pain” and “Shepherding a Woman’s Heart” from Moody Publishing.
Daisy Santos is a human resources consultant and certified corporate trainer in the marketplace. She provides training in leadership, inter-personal communication and change management. Ms. Santos is also Director of Instruction for Mt. Olivet Baptist church she oversees the administration of the adult educational ministries. She has earned a Master’s degree in Counseling and Education from the University of Southern California, and Master’s degree in Pastoral Care to Women at Western Seminary.

In order to complete a learning track, you must complete every course within that track. Some tracks, like the Biblical Languages tracks, also require courses to be completed in a specific sequence, though this is not true of all tracks.

Upon finishing all the courses in a track, you may apply for and receive a certificate of completion.
Several colleges and seminaries do accept BibleMesh Biblical Language courses as a pre-requisite or advance placement option. But, if you are interested in earning a credit-bearing certificate that provides degree pathway opportunities to partner academic institutions, you will need to enroll in the BibleMesh Institute.
