This course will explore the topic of work and present homiletic strategies for preachers to be effective at ministering to the professionals in their church.

At a Glance

This course is designed to help pastors preach more effectively to people who work in the marketplace of life. Dr. Scott Rae will help you understand God’s Theology of Work and why Christians in the Marketplace are valuable to God and the world. Dr. Kent Edward will help you take those truths and think about them in the context of preaching. He not only gives a wonderful though brief lesson in Homiletics but uses James 4:13-17 to help you craft a sermon that would be meaningful to your congregation. The course closes with a panel discussion by four people who are leaders in the world of business and who bring some very practical applications for pastors to the front.
