BTHS 5403 Christian Theology
A survey of theological method and the principal doctrines of the Christian faith, to include revelation, Scripture, God, humanity, Christ, the Holy Spirit, salvation, the church, and last things. The course will seek to present Christian truth, edify the church, and advance the Christian mission.

Instructors
Dr. Matthew Emerson
Dr. Matthew Y. Emerson serves as Dickinson Associate Professor of Religion at Oklahoma Baptist University. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Auburn University and an M.Div. and Ph.D. in from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Emerson joined the OBU faculty in 2015. He previously taught at California Baptist University, where he served as Chair of the Arts and Sciences Department in the OPS Division.
